IPS_Multi Trade Skid Fabrication

Modular Construction
& Industrial Skid Fabrication

IPS self-performs mechanical, piping, electrical, insulation, sheet metal, millwright, ironworker, and fabrication scopes. That’s what makes modular construction work. Instead of sending each trade into your facility one after another, we bring them together in our 100,000-square-foot Rossford, Ohio, fabrication shop. There we assemble skids, pipe racks, and multi-trade modules that arrive at your site ready to set and connect.

The result is less work inside your operating plant, fewer people on your site, and a schedule that doesn’t depend on weather or field congestion. When modules are ready before your site is, we store them on 30 acres of secured outdoor storage until you call for delivery.

Every Trade, One Shop, One Contract

Most modular packages pass through several hands. One shop builds the frame, another builds the spools, an electrical contractor wires it, an insulator wraps it, and someone else sets it. Every handoff is a chance for a fit-up problem or a schedule gap.

IPS keeps the whole package in-house:

  • Process piping: fabricated by certified welders under ASME U, A, and S stamps and the National Board R stamp, as a Piping Fabrication Institute member shop
  • Structural steel: skid bases, frames, supports, and rack structures
  • Electrical: mounted and terminated in the shop, so modules arrive ready for final connection
  • Insulation: applied in the shop before shipment, taking those hours out of the field
  • Sheet metal and ductwork: built in the same facility by our Sheet Metal Division
  • Setting and tie-in: performed by our own union millwrights, ironworkers, and pipefitters

One contract, one schedule, and one team accountable from first weld to final connection.

Let’s Talk About Your Next Module

Have a skid, rack, or modular package in planning? Send us your drawings or scope, and an IPS estimator will walk through what can move off site and what it will save you in the field.

Built Here, Delivered Where You Need It

Our Rossford facility sits within miles of state and federal highways, with Maumee River barge access and property-connected rail spur. That gives heavy skids and large modules more routing options from our shop to your site.
