IPS has been contracted to provide installation of the automated battery storage system and final battery mainline. Installation included compressed air lines and electrical power feeder cables to production floor robotics. Additional work involved assembly of equipment from GM suppliers to complete a fully automated battery retrieval system (ASRS) as well as installation into vehicle frame along main line assembly of GMC Hummer EV.

This project is slated to be one of the largest general assembly plants to house a complete battery warehouse for final vehicle production.
