HVAC Technician
As a HVAC Technician with IPS, you will diagnosis, repair, and maintain commercial HVAC equipment for IPS clients.
Salary: $60,000 – $100,000 per year. Full time position.

Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot defective commercial HVAC systems and equipment to make diagnoses including electrical and mechanical faults
- Perform emergency repairs of commercial HVAC systems promptly and efficiently
- Perform maintenance on commercial HVAC equipment including cleaning, adjusting, identifications of maintenance risks, and warranty services
- Provide service of exhaust hoods and make up air
- Provide service of roof top package units and commercial splits systems
- Professionally discuss heating or cooling system malfunctions with users to isolate problems or to verify that repairs corrected malfunctions
- Foster good working relationships with clients generating return and new business
- Keep daily logs and records of maintenance functions
- Comply with all applicable standards, policies, or procedures, such as safety procedures or the maintenance of a clean work area and service truck
Qualifications
- 2+ years Commercial HVAC service, maintenance, and repair experience
- High school diploma, GED or suitable equivalent
- Possess a valid driver license and clean driving record
- Proficient electrical and mechanical diagnostic skills
- Must be able to pass routine drug screenings and background checks to work in our clients’ facilities
- Proficient in reading schematics and work plans
- Ability to work after hours, over weekends and on public holidays with short notice
- Chiller experience is a plus
