
Electrical Group Manager
As an Electrical Group Manager, you will be responsible for driving profitability and performance while also enhancing client relationships. The Group Manager will effectively manage their team, clients, and backlog while upholding expectations on safety, cost, quality, schedule, and subcontractors on assigned projects.
Salary: $125,000 – $140,000 per year. Full time position.

Responsibilities
- Identify viable new business development leads and manage prospects to drive profitability in the company’s Electrical Group.
- Foster on-going relationships with current clients utilizing customer relationship management skills and software.
- Actively participate in bidding and pre-construction services of projects.
- Manage the personnel, safety, cost, schedule, and quality of all projects within the Electrical Group simultaneously ensuring projects are meeting deadlines while notifying Executive Team of critical changes and updates.
- Maintain strict oversight over budgets and purchasing within the Electrical Group to ensure ongoing profitability.
- Find solutions by implementing new ideas and demonstrating decisiveness when resolving business problems, making decisions, and identifying priorities.
- Mentor Electrical Group project managers and project engineers to ensure their ongoing career growth and development.
- Gather information and present need-to-know information to the company’s executive leadership team on new business leads, relationships with key clients, and project updates.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in construction management, engineering, business or a related field.
- 15+ years’ experience working in the construction industry, mostly within electrical work.
- Experience overseeing teams that manage multiple projects and clients simultaneously.
- Strong ability to develop new business while maintaining relationships with existing markets and clients.
- Demonstrated customer relationship, estimating, and project management skills.
- Knowledge of safety best practices and procedures on construction sites
- Ability to prioritize, handle multiple tasks and project managers while responding quickly to requests of team members and customers.
- Ability to identify client needs and bid and manage the work from conceptual stage through completion.
- A strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Forms, etc.) and other standard construction project management software
- Detail oriented with good problem-solving and teamwork skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
