ROSSFORD, Ohio — Industrial Power Systems (IPS), a family-owned Northwest Ohio specialty and general contractor headquartered in Rossford, is celebrating more than 30 years of support for University of Toledo Athletics through its longstanding suite investment at the Glass Bowl.

This season, that commitment was recognized in a signed letter to IPS founder and CEO Kevin Gray from the 2026 Toledo football captains: Julian Fox, Connor Walendzak, John Alan Richter and Andrew Zock. Writing on behalf of the team, the captains thanked IPS for its continued commitment to Rocket football. They said that support, year after year, helps create the game-day energy and atmosphere that sets Toledo apart in the Mid-American Conference.

The captains also thanked IPS for more than its game-day presence. They pointed to the investment IPS has made in the program itself, saying it helps create opportunities for players and allows the program to keep building. They described being a Rocket as representing the university, the city of Toledo, and the Northwest Ohio community. The letter closed simply: “We are proud to play for you.”

“IPS has been part of this community since 1985, and the Rockets have been part of our story for most of that time,” said Kevin J. Gray, founder and CEO of Industrial Power Systems. “Our people live here, work here and cheer for this team. Receiving a letter like this from the players is a reminder that investing in Toledo is about more than a building or a scoreboard. It’s about the young people who represent all of us every Saturday.”

— Kevin J. Gray, CEO, IPS
