Husky Energy - Butane Vent Elimination
In April 2010 IPS was awarded a $3 Million Butane Vent
Elimination project for Husky Refinery in Lima, Ohio. The
purpose of this work is to eliminate nearly all of the existing
atmospherically vented butane through a series of pressure
safety valves.
Husky Energy (Premcor) Refinery
IPS was the General Contractor responsible for the construction of the Cat Gas Hydro-Treater project. IPS self -performed all piping and electrical work. All equipment and module installation including towers, exchangers, heaters and subcontracted all site, civil and structural work.
Husky Energy (Premcor) Refinery - Sulfur Recovery Unit
IPS was the general contractor responsible for the construction of the sulfur recovery unit . IPS managed subcontractors to do the civil work-site preparation, underground piping and foundations. IPS self performed the equipment set – 22 equipment and piping modules, an incinerator, a catalytic reactor, a RIE building, one tail gas unit and various towers, filters, drums and reactors.
Husky - Selenium Building
As General Contractor on the project, IPS was required to construct a building over the existing selenium removal process area. The building was constructed at Husky’s Lima, Ohio refinery facility in 2008.

Sunoco - Naphtha Project
In 2006, Sunoco Refinery signed an agreement with the U.S. EPA and Ohio EPA that required Sunoco to invest money toward pollution control and expansion which allows Sunoco to increase its refining capacity while adding air pollution control equipment.
