Global Engine Manufacturing Alliance (GEMA) - Energy Center
At the Energy Center, IPS installed piping, electrical and process controls. We furnished and installed 33 pieces of equipment.

Getrag
Getrag is one of the largest independent automotive transmission manufacturers worldwide. Getrag is building a new 600,000 square ft. production/assembly facility in Tipton, Indiana to service the needs of Chrysler. IPS was chosen to perform two major phases of the construction.
Northstar Bluescope Steel
Northstar Bluescope Steel is a 50-50 joint venture between BlueScope Steel (Melbourne, Australia) and
Cargill, Inc. (Minneapolis, MN). The partnership brings together expertise in electric furnace steel making,
slab casting and hot rolling technology in a synchronous flat rolled mini-mill.
Vehtek
IPS is the General Contractor on a $12 million expansion to the Magna Vehtek Plant in Bowling Green, Ohio
Pro-Tec Coating Company - Turnkey
PRO-TEC Coating Company was established as
a joint venture in 1990 by two global leaders in
steel technology and production – U. S. Steel
Corporation (U. S. Steel) and Kobe Steel, Ltd., of
Japan. A joint team of technical experts from
both companies designed the original production
facility featuring a 600,000-ton-per-year capacity,
state-of-the-art, hot-dip continuous
galvanizing/galvanization line.
Spartan Steel Coating Company - New Furnace Rebuild
Spartan Steel Coating is a joint venture between
Severstal North America and Worthington
Industries. Located in Monroe, Michigan, Spartan
Steel Coating Company is capable of producing
450,000 tons annually of light gauge hot-dipped
galvanized steel, primarily for value-added
automotive applications.
Brush Wellman - Pebble Plant
IPS was first awarded a one million dollar site development package for the new fifty acre site. This package included installing the building pad and utilities in a green field area for the new 100,000 square foot facility
Worthington Steel - Furnace
With the domestic demand for galvanized steel on the rise, Worthington Steel — America’s largest independent
processor of flat-rolled steel, and a major supplier to the automotive industry — needed to add capacity at its
11-year-old steel-processing plant in Delta, Ohio.
Honda Automotive
As the General Contractor for this project, IPS was responsible for all facets of the project from excavating and pouring concrete to the architectural work such as; block, pre-insulated siding, roofing and painting.
Lorain County Landfill
IPS was contracted as the General Contractor for the landfill gasification project for the Lorain County Landfill. The end goal was to refine more gas that could be converted into reusable energy
